Emulation Chromecast with Google TV

I don't know if I'm in the right category but I don't see any emulation category...

 

Can the new chromecast stand long gaming hours? I mostly play SNES games using RetroArch and was wondering if it would overheat... 6-8 hours of gameplay...

I use my Chromecast for about 12 hours some days. Although not gaming I stream.

I think theoretically it can run 24 hours a day if you want it to.
