Assassin's creed syndicate gives black screen

Hi!

when i try to start the game, i get the syndicate logo on my screen, then i get a black screen. It so trows me out to the desktop, but the game is still running in the background. I am gaming on a tv, so i can see what reselution i have, and it says nothing, no reselution at all

How can i fix this?

Try to find the config file for the options.

My Documents/Assassin's Creed Syndicate

 

And edit resolution (try 1920x1080) and refresh (try 60hz first) to match TV

Its prob by default starting at 50hz or something wrong.....1280x720 or 1366x768 at default until changed and the TV may not prefer those and borks out.

 

Prior to this config file.. while its black...

try hitting ALT+ENTER keys in combination while running MIGHT bring it into Windowed mode so you can reset it up in options.
