Redux is really good, and they only up charge $75 for assembly.

You've seen what they're doing, right? They might've been alright in the past, but right now... well, see for yourself. This isn't because of the market. I bet redux gets these components at worst at or very near MSRP.

Is there a specific reason why you want to go for a prebuilt?

He pointed that he cant build PC himself, and depending on the location it might be easier for him to buy prebuilt, then to wait for stock and price to fall down.

"Can't build a pc myself" Isn't very specific. It can refer to a multitude of things.

They have the nerve to call it an RTX card lol, because it can technically ray trace. That and the PSU looks like an apevia prestige, which Isn't an $80 unit, the motherboard looks like a b460-a-pro, which is like $75, and I don't beileve 16gb of 2933mhz ram costs $85... heh...heh...

It's a real bad time to buy gpus and pre built computers.

I was considering a Dell since they have a 17% off coupon and 0% financing.  I priced a unit together and with a 3070 the cart was about $680 more than msrp so they too are scalping.

The only way to get a decent computer with gaming performance is a gaming laptop.  Their prices are not too bad.
