Can my pc run Yakuza 7/ Like a Dragon on 1440p?

Go to solution Solved by porina,

I had run 1440p Ultra on a 2070 and it sat at the 60fps cap I left it on. Good chance it can perform well on a 2060. Also the visual difference between high and ultra is pretty small so that can be kept in reserve.

It isn't CPU intensive so that is not a concern at all.

I know this forum might not be the best for this types of questions but here I always find lots of help from great people so here I go.
I have a rtx 2060, a ryzen 7 3700x and 32gb of ram. Do you think I can play Yakuza 7 at 1440p max settings above 50 fps?

From what i saw in the gameplay video, looks like the graphics are not that advance, so yeah you can run it.

Does high and ultra settings have some considerable frame gap (like 10)?

You might have to lower one or two settings from "max" (whether that's high or ultra), but broadly speaking you should have no issues running at at 1440 and getting up to and over 50fps.

I don't recall the difference, other than it was there and it was small (at 4k). Below were my observations at the time from another thread.

I had forgot about that, there is also a rendering scale option in the menu so that is another option to fine adjust should it be needed. As the game is relatively photorealistic it scales well with little noticeable difference. I had used it previously at 4k to get the frame rate up a bit more.

Looks: great. I'm running it on my 4k TV with a 2070. CPU doesn't matter, it hardly needs any. It defaulted to 4k medium, but I felt like I wanted framerate over resolution. I could set it to 1440p Ultra, and it is comfortably sitting at the user selectable 60fps frame limit. Didn't feel the need for more, not that there might be much more to give. In the open world parts, I'm seeing GPU usage around 75-85% at 1440 Ultra. I don't notice any obvious resizing artefacts from running 1440p compared to 4k, but I've not pixel peeped either. I forgot the exact performance I was seeing at 4k but it was around 30fps and I felt it was a bit too low for comfort. I need a faster GPU here if I'm to run that.
