fluffkinxx

I am looking for a very cheap and capable streaming device to use on my 1080p tv. I want to get it second hand as i can get it super cheap(20$ for the chromecast and 30$ for the mi tv, brand new in my country is like 50$+). So, what one should i get? im using it to stream spotify, youtube, netflix

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

MI sticks is a full fledge stand alone android TV, not a streamer like chromecast.

Doesn't need another device to work. And it also have a stream / cast function.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

I read online that sometimes it has lag and runs poorly, ever happened to you?

Yes it is somewhat laggy, but only in the interface, when you stream movies it doesn't happen.

Not that it's unusable, i think it's fair for the price.

Probably because it uses an older chipset.

I much prefer that to a chromecast, i can just press the remote, extremely convenient than scrubbing the phone to fast forwards / backward.

As said above the mi stick would be the best option if you want the full android experience compared to, you have to turn on your phone, connect it, open the app, and select the song or movie .

If my answer is correct or is helpful please mark it as the solution. Quote me in your post to summon me. Beware that after summoning me ill never leave.

What is the cheapest Roku available in your country? I would personally highly recommend Roku.
