  1. I haven't tried that yet. My dad won't let me touch anything inside the pc.
  2. All what I have said above is what I know about the problem. Can someone help me. These are my specs : Amd Ryzen 3 3100 Asus Prime A320-K WD Blue 1tb HDD Adata 120 gb m.2 SSD Adata 2666mhz 16gb 8x2 Ram Nvidia G210 gpu Generic Unknown 450 watts Psu
  3. So I didn't use my pc for the last couple of days and when I try to turn it on it doesn't work. The motherboard has some lights on it, it's a a320-k prime asus. Those lights turn on but I have no display and non of the fans turn on. I tried removing the CMOS battery, but it didn't do anything. I think it has to do something with the pins where the power sw header for the chasis power button is plugged in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
  4. It'd be better if you ran in different drives or ssds. Windows runs a lot of background processes which will keep your drive or ssd utilized for most of the time. So when a power hungry application runs it can only utilized the drive or ssd with half of it being used by windows.
  5. 2 sticks of ram. get Dual channel ram means you should get two sticks of ram. Dual channel is something that your cpu and mobo does, thanks for the correction
  6. The trident series and the corsair vengence and ballistix is known to be good with ryzen processors. Also get dual channel memory.
  7. Also run disk cleanup and choose cleanup system files. It can have recent windows update's files saved for backup.
  8. It's 450 watts it has a label which says that. I'm not at home so I can't show the psu
  9. Ryzen 3 3100, g210, a320k prime, unknown brand with 450 watts
  10. I'll be running the games on ultra low or low settings. I don't quite remember the game which I was running It was quite a while ago during the extreme chip shortage. I'm looking at the GDDR5 version of the gt1030. The gt1030 is almost 3000 rupees more than the Radeon GPU. Would the gpus be almost the same in performance
  11. So I was playing some car racing games and my pc was not performing too well. I know that it's due to my outdated GPU so I went to Amazon for search for a GPU between the budget of 1000-9000 rupees. I got 2 gpus which were almost the same the Radeon r7 240 and Nvidia gt1030. They both have 2 gb vram but the Radeon one is cheaper. Which should I choose.
  12. Get 3200mhz ram and upgrade to a Ryzen 7 or 5 according to your remaining budget. For a gpu upgrade get a 2060 super or 1080ti also according to your budget. Get an SSD if you dont already have one
  13. Have you ever debloated the iso from which you installed this windows installation. If you dont find any good solutions here I would recommend posting this is in the microsoft forum. There are a few commands you can run to try and fix this Open the command prompt (Run as the administrator) NOTE: Do one scan at a time. Some of these scans will take some time to finish. Type, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Hit Enter. Type, sfc /scannow Hit Enter. Type, chkdsk /v /f /r C: Hit Enter. When asked to schedule it, Type Y Now type this to r
  14. If the Linux distro has the proper support for running Windows games, or just games it would run faster than windows if you have all the hardware drivers installed. Linux is actually way better than windows, but most triple aaa games do not run on linux due to compatibility issues and stuff. Steam has a solution for this called proton , it's steam but for linux , it has most of the games you'd have on your windows pc but there can be compatibility issues. Lookup the games you want to run on Linux in the Protondb website https://www.protondb.com/, and you can see a rating for the compatibility
  15. If you need a nice user interface, you can install one of these Zorin OS Elementary OS Garuda Linux Ubuntu(if you're planning on using different skins/themes) Although if you're going for garuda linux turn off some ui graphics settings. If you plan to stick to Windows, use the windows 10 ameliorated. It would run almost as fast the linux distros. The ameliorated version is just windows, with no bloatware, no telemetry and other stuff.
