Go to solution
Solved by Basher2112,
- Asus Crosshair viii wifi
- bios 3204
- windows 10pro
- adata gen 3 ssd m.2 (boot drive)
- Seagate firecuda gen4 m.2 (clone drive)
- Trident z32gb 3600mhz
- Evga 850 G3
- water cooled
I have tried to clone the gen 4 ssd from the gen 3 ssd several times now . tried to install it in second ssd slot on mb but windows wouldn't recognize it. have tried command prompt to clean ssd, reformatted drive. two different kinds of clone software, to no avail. bios will only recognize new ssd on first boot attempt it's gone and no longer an option after that.
