Seasonic Prime GX/PX/TX Noise Difference

PagMan

I'm building a new PC and am currently looking at power supplies. I was checking Cybenetic reports on various PSUs and now my question is how can it be that while the Seasonic Prime Titanium has an average noise output of around 16db(a), the Prime Platinum and Prime Gold versions supposedly have an average noise output of 37db(a) and 43db(a) respectively? Does the lower efficiency of the latter two have that much of an impact that it results in 40db+ noise?

These are the reports I was looking at:

Seasonic Prime TX-850 http://members.cybenetics.report:5050/d/cybenetics_B7p_eu.pdf

Seasonic Prime PX-850 http://members.cybenetics.report:5050/d/cybenetics_woq_eu.pdf

Seasonic Prime GX-850 http://members.cybenetics.report:5050/d/cybenetics_QGN_eu.pdf

NO, just better fan profiles and likely better fans.

The TX is the quietest one as you said.

If it helps I have a Prime GX-750 and it is silent so far, I haven’t heard the fan come on yet.
