Athlon 200GE 1 core 1 thread

Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

Install Ryzen Master and check if the cores are there.

Go through the bios menu and find some like "core enable / disable core".

Update the bios to the latest.

Hi, i did overclock a Athlon 200Ge and made a mistake (Asus Bios btw) i just put 4.4Ghz and added 0.20000v VDDCR Cpu voltage (numbers was yellow) and then the pc won't boot. I manage to make it boot but now Cpu-z and Cpu benchmark says that it's an 1 Core 1 Thread processor... Did i burnt one of the cores? Was high Voltage the mistake or the 4.4Ghz? Is there a chance that i can fix it?

Clear the CMOS. .2v is very low voltage, I'm assuming that the bios freekwd out and isn't functioning properly, trying desperately to do .2v.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

4.4ghz is very high for that generation. I'm surprise you're able to even boot at 1.4v (+0.2).

My 2600 can boot at 4.2 with 1.45v. But not stable.

Reset the bios and oc it to a reasonable clock.

The CPU voltage at 0.20?
That's way too low.

I put on VDDCR CPU Offset Voltage 0.20000v

Just go to the end of the submenus and click "Load Optimized Defaults".

I think i tried it already but did it again as said, still 1 Core 1 Thread... 😞 And i sure took out the battery to reset BIOS twice a few hours ago and still the same

I'll try with Ryzen Master, have latest BIOS btw. And i think i explained my problem so bad... I didn’t put voltage to 0.20 i added 0.200000 to the VDDCR and those numbers turned yellow that i think it was risky, then my pc wont boot and i reset bios and switches rams from slot 1/3 to 2/4 and it booted. When in windows i did benchmark cpu and saw poor results then i saw it said that’s the cpu is 1 core 1 thread instead of previous 2 core 4 thread i had.

Wow, i didn't expect that. haha. Don't go too much with the OC, Zen+ usually stable up to 4ghz, only golden chips can get 4.1-4.3.

If you're building for someone who doesn't know pc, then set it at default, the difference is not that huge. Not worth it.

Also dont forget to install Ryzen chipset driver and set Ryzen Balanced Profile in power management.

I forgot 200ge is not Zen+, it's Zen1, so 3.9ghz is the recommended max.
