Am i lifting the GPU too much ? GPU support bracket.

Whusthat

Yo guys ...

so i bought a gpu support bracket for my gigabyte 3060 ti gaming oc pro.

I do not suffer from gpu sack but there is a common issue with the shroud making some noise under the vibration from the fans.

I could just rma the card but lets be real it will takes ages and i dont have another gpu currently.

So i read about a fix where you just have to lift the card up slightly, i tried it and it works.

my only concern is that it is lifting the card too much up. It might sound silly depending on the fact that i rly just lift the card about 1-2 mm but better safe than sorry right ?

I uploaded a video. What do you guys think ?

my gpu sacks fans rattle too when around 90%, actually I think it's the middle fan. 👀

as much I think it's a good card the fans definitely are a bit weak and flimsy sadly (which is why I may water cool it)

yeah i feel you ... im sure its not the fan in my case its either the plastic that sits between fan and heatsink ( has to much clearance) or somehow the shroud itself.

if the vision oc is similar to the gaming oc pro in terms of power pin placement it will get hard to find waterblocks for it. Thats atleast what the der8auer says in his review. But good luck tho 🙂

And thx for you replys guys ... i will leave it that way for now should be fine 🙂
