Im just curious if B460M aorus pro can handle powerful cpu i9 10900k.

 

any thoughts ?

I doubt it. It's a 4 phase vcore if I'm looking at this right. Why even bother putting such a chip with a low end board?

Most likely will...but running a K SKU Intel processor in anything other than a Z or X motherboard will be pointless and wasteful of money. Z/X prefix Intel motherboards allow for overclocking the CPU, which has to be a K SKU. 

 

A B series board will be better suited with a locked  processor (one without a K suffix).

The Gigabyte website shows that this motherboard was designed to handle the Core i9-10900K.

You will not be able to overclock with this chipset but the CPU will have no problem running at its default specs.

If you're going with this mobo you should not go with the K version cpu. Save some cash.
