Win98SE, WinME, WinXP multiboot ?

Hi. Would it be possible for my current machine (Intel 1.10Ghz, 1.5Gb Ram, Voodoo3 & SB Pro2,..) to run 3 different systems (98SE, Millenium & XP) on a single 64Gb CF card (couldn't find a smaller one at the time) ?

Windows 98 would need its own FAT32 partition, something in the 2-4 GB or more. Same for Windows Millenium, though why would you use that I don't know... You could probably install both WinME and Win98 on same partition in different folders but would be a mess and you may have compatibility issues with some games  and applications

I'd encourage you to get Windows 2003 32 bit and disable services meant for servers. you get the benefit of NTFS, stable kernel, drivers for XP work on it  (Windows xp 64 bit is more or less windows 2003)

If that cpu is 64 bit, keep at least windows xp 64 bit for those games or applications that are only available in 64 bit.

You can use a boot manager to switch between Windows versions ... Windows XP should detect the Windows 98 and other partitions and leave them be (just select custom install and select the rest of the cf card as ntfs partition) and add them to boot menu.

If not, there are linux boot managers and third party boot managers that would let you switch.

Which exact Intel 1.1 GHz?
I personally would put them on separate drives.

But it might work - I've never tried though.

It's .......Intel Celeron SL5XU 1.10GHz-1100MHz-128KB-100MHz Socket 370 CPU & the motherboard is QDI Advance 10B.

I'll probably use separate cards, just to avoid any possible problems.

I'd say just get an IDE SSD, or a IDE-SATA adapter and a regular 32-64 GB SSD.

Will probably be more reliable and cheaper than CF cards.

And partitions are easy and simple and safe. Shouldn't need to deal with multiple cards.

66$ for IDE SSD : https://www.amazon.com/Transcend-PSD330-2-5-inch-Internal-Solid/dp/B00AQT2LCU/

15$ for 4 GB IDE SSD : https://www.amazon.com/TRANSCEND-TS4GDOM44H-S-Internal-Solid-State/dp/B008LA8U8K/

(enough for windows 98 / Me boot drive, and have a separate partition on the 32-64-whatever formatted fat32 for games and stuff)

bi-directional ide-sata converter : https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Drive-Optical-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00EOJNGC2/

(random search result from an ok brand, there's some no-name ones cheaper, though debatable quality)

I have notice that CompactFlash Cards of usable capacities are rather expensive compared to Modern SD and MicroSD Cards.

BTW what is the Limit on those? The fullest ones I ever heard of is 128GB.
