I'm looking for some input on liquid cooling in a "portable" pc build.

I want to build a small pc with a custom loop (cpu and gpu) so I can keep the form factor a bit smaller without sacrificing heat displacement. Also trying to keep the fan noise down while playing at friends n such.

Would this be advised? Any special fittings/tubing that'd work better then others?

Maybe a quick drain and fill option if it's not advised?

That's not a standard thing? 🤣 Thanks for the heads up, that's something I woulda thought was a no brainer when designing something with liquid around electronics 😅

Maybe my Ncase M1 build will tickle your curiosity, the only thing is that it may be small, but copper and water are both very heavy, so this mofo is dense AF.

Generally speaking: softline is your friend. Hardline is just too rigid and cases are not stiff enough to not flex a little bit when moving. While it might be all fine once you set it back to the ground, the shocks of moving it around might give you smaller leaks on the way. Not to mention the actual risk of shattering.

Since you want to include both GPU and CPU you'd ideally look at 2x240 or at least a 280mm radiator. There are several options aroundbut generally SFF is either a stretch or a pain in the butt.
