It's worth $1200 at most,but considering the current situation $1300 would be fine.

the gpu is 700 and the cpu is 300

That would then mean the case , power supply , motherboard, ram , and  ssd are only 200$ so no I'm entirely sure that would be accurate.

CPU = $200

AIO = $50

Random Z390 motherboard = random price of $100

RAM  = $160 at most

PSU = $70

Case =  $60

SSD = $100

GPU = $500 at normal price

Total $1240

It could be more depending on the motherboard.

ah ok , they are looking for a USD price as opposed to a different dollar type. When determining the cost of an item be sure it's the "average cost" vs "the lowest you can find". otherwise you may have conflicting information such as

Yeah, not a bad price. What's quoted above is parts pricing, not a full build price.

You can certainly build it yourself for less, but then you have to build it. If it runs and is what you want... get it.

Parts right now are scarce and pricey, even older gens.  It's a sellers market, so you're paying a premium.  As long as you know that... do what ya gotta do.

Ram speed is 2666

The two main components in this PC is the i7 8086K and the 2080 Super.

So you can compare this PC to buying a completely new PC with similar components:

The i5 10600K can replace 8086K (both are 14nm 6C/12T CPU with good ability for overclocking)

The 3060 ti have very similar performance to the 2080 Super.

Using PCPartPicker I have assembled the exact same build to see what it would cost to buy this brand new.

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ypqVHz

CPU: Intel Core i5-10600K 4.1 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($259.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Silverstone PF240-ARGB 94 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($98.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI MAG Z490 TOMAHAWK ATX LGA1200 Motherboard  ($194.92 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL15 Memory  ($76.98 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL15 Memory  ($76.98 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($61.69 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Asus GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB DUAL OC Video Card (Price not available but should be $700-750)
Case: Deepcool Gamer Storm MACUBE 310 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($73.92 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Silverstone Essential 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply  ($94.99 @ Amazon)

Win10 ($20)

Total cost would be roughly 1700 USD if you bought a new PC with the same performance.

CPU: i9 9900K   Cooler: NH-D15   RAM: Kingston Fury 4 x 8GB 3600MHz CL17   Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F   GPU: ASUS 3080 TUF   Case: In Win D-Frame   PSU: Corsair HX850i   Storage: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe (OS), 500GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe (Games), 2TB Crucial BX500 SSD (Storage)   Monitor: Samsung Odyssey Neo G9.

Wrong:

Not only you used a 970 EVO,instead of the 970 EVO Plus,The RAM and power supply you used were sub-par.

The PSU on my list is an 800W tier A unit,the RAM is 3000MHz CL15,while the one on your list is a mere 2666MHz CL15.

Not only my list is better,it's also cheaper by $200,and not to mention that i can bring it even lower without sacrificing quality.

With my part list,the total cost would be $1400 max.

I guess you did not understand my point.

I didn't try to build the best PC for that price range.

OP is asking if 1435 USD is a good price for a second hand PC.

I built a new PC with the same exact parts (or equivalent).

Cooler, Case, RAM, PSU, SSD and Mobo are identical to his post.

I did this to demonstrate what that PC would cost to buy new today.

If OP had asked for a build with the best price/performance then I would have chosen a different build.

For gaming I would probably choose 5600x if I wanted the best or i5 10400 for a more budget build.

Me too.

They are not identical at all.

The RAM is just a random 32GB kit,the SSD on your list is a different model,and the power supply is just a random 650W Silverstone unit.

I just checked OPs list and you are correct about the SSD.

"DDR4 32GB(4x8GB) 2666mhz Memory"

"Silverstone 650W Gold Power Supply"

OP didn't specify the exact RAM and PSU so I choose something similar.

"Me too" rly ?

IMO you did not choose your components as close to the original build as you could.

Your choice of R5 3600 isn't rly equivalent to 8086K.

I choose Intel because that was part of the second hand PC.

And if you wanted to match the Z390 board you should have chosen a X470/X570 board.

And what made you choose the Apevia PSU ?

From the "PSU Tier list" on this forum:

( low priority units - minor issues or lack of info )
Apevia | Prestige

I did not care about price/performance or AMD vs Intel.

I built as close to the same PC as I could  (yes I got the SSD wrong).
