PCI-E X1 not working on Aorus Z390 Pro Wifi

Maxt1607

Hi, I hope you are well!

I am hoping someone on here can help me!

My pc has 2 x 2080s installed into 2/3 pcie x16 slots.

I want to install a 3060ti also using a GPU riser for mining, when I plug the riser in and power it and the card the fans don't spin and the bios shows nothing connected in the PCIe x1 ports.

From my understanding my CPU has 24  available pcie lanes

Each 2080 is using 8 lanes, (16 in total)
I also have an m.2 SSD which is using 4 lanes, so I should have 4 lanes spare..

Perhaps it's a bios setting but I can't see anything that I can change for the PCIe settings, I tried turning the "Max Link Speed" from auto to both gen1 and gen2 as someone suggested this on an old thread but it still doesn't work

Also I have tried multiple GPU risers and none of them power the GPU, it's like my motherboard has the PCIe x1 ports disabled.

If anyone can help I would be greatly appreciative!

Thanks in advance

Hey man, same problems here. ..well, sort of. I am getting risers to work and be detected in x16 slots, still not in x1's.
