  1. Hi I was hoping someone can help me with this problem. In summary it is an Audio and Video bug where the screen freezes for a split second every few seconds even when on the desktop and dragging windows around. When in games it does this also and the audio freezes at the same time. The story behind the machine is, This is my friends PC, A can of coke (Half Full) was knocked off a desk and believe it or not it landed upside down on the top intake vent of the pc. (i know not a great start haha) The liquid went onto the GPU backplate and a small amount splas
  2. I notice you have a 1080 FTW3. Would you recommend EVGA? The RTX FTW3 is a 3 slot card, didn't realise how huge it was haha
  3. Unfortunatley i am from the UK and i cant get open box offers on Amazon. A EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 ULTRA which i was going to purchase is currently £699 which is $877 which is quite expensive. The MSI GAMING TRIO X is the same price. UK is so expensive

  5. Thanks for your thoughts i think as you say it is probably worth waiting a couple of weeks!
  6. Hmmm $50 isn't worth me waiting a month with no GPU so i might bite the bullet this week then
  7. Id love to wait but i got rid of my previous system to fund his build so its either buy something this week or wait potentially a month and maybe only save $50. I think maybe i should wait till they are announced then give it a couple of days and see if prices change atall
  8. Hi, I have accumulated some pc parts and am just waiting to order the GPU. I was planning to order the GPU today however now the Super cards are supposedly going to be released on Thursday i am trying to work out if the 2080 will take a noticeable price decrease or not? Does anyone have an idea of how much the price may go down and when the price is likely to change? I assume the price wont actually drop until the cards go on sale which is rumoured to be July? In summary should i bite the bullet and by an RTX 2080 now or should i wait potentially a month for
