Can i use 3200mhz ddr4 ram on a motherboard that supports only 2933mhz ddr4 ram?

which motherboard? in general, you can set the ram to whatever speed you cpu/motherboard allows. the 3200 written on the ram just means that it can work up to 3200.

The asus tuff b460m plus wifi

also if i enable xmp on the 3200mhz it will run in 2933mhz and it wont break things?
