Instagram display link not working

Browser, version and OS: Chrome, 87.0.4280.141, Android 9 pie

 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

I copied the link of a video from my instagram app and pasted it

 

What happened?

It just showed the link

 

What did you expect to happen?

To get the video embed

It looks like IPS has removed support for Instagram (and Facebook) embeds, I think because the API endpoint that was being used is deprecated and the replacement looks like it might not be compatible.
