Do I need an ethernet switch for this? And cheap switch suggestions?

I have only 1 ethernet port in my room but 2 PCs that need it. Is this a job for an ethernet switch or not? Additionally I am NOT going to transfer files between them.
Also please suggest any cheap ones that you know work, I have 150/150 mbps. Thanks in advance.

A gigabit ethernet switch (1000Mb/s) would be around 16 USD: https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-5-Port-Gigabit-Ethernet-Unmanaged/dp/B07S98YLHM/

Netgear, D-Link, Linksys, TP-Link would all be good brands, a simple switch from any of these brands would work the same. 

Plug a cable in and then a cable to both of your PC's and that's it.

Quite literally any gigabit unmanaged switch will do and will cost around 20€. Something like e.g. TP-Link TL-SG1005D, ZyXEL GS-105S v2 or TP-Link TL-SG105 are all perfectly fine. Just check that it is a gigabit-router, not a 10/100.

Any gigabit switch will do or you can get an access point if you want WiFi for your phone.
