You've bought the wrong kit by the looks of it

CM-PCSI-FKIT-NKC-R is for the yellow label RMx.

CM-PCSR-FKIT-NKC-R  is for the Black Label RMx.

@CableMod Might be able to help or point you in the right direction.

So I ordered a full cablemod kit to replace my PSU cables. I made sure to check to see if it was compatable and even says so on the cablemod website.

My PSU is a Corsair RM750x

The cable kit I ordered was:

And on cable mods comparability list:

The 24 pin has 4 less pins ok the PSU side and won't fit.

Am I missing something?

Could you post pictures of the PSU, the 24pin connector on the PSU and the 24 pin connector on the cable? (PSU side).

... It literally says RMx / RM in their compatability list...

All the other cables fit, is it safe to use the other cables and just leave the 24 pin for now?

There's different versions of the RM series, the kits are distinguished between yellow and black label compatibility.

Honestly can't comment on whether the other cables can be used, I don't know if the pin-outs are the same.

Yeah I thought as much, I'll ask cablemod I guess. In the meantime, guess I'm running my old cables allover again...

Thanks for the help.

@CableMod Yeah I realized, was my bad. However, is it safe to use the other cables? and not the 24 pin?

@Katze apologies, tagged the wrong person prior! The other cables are indeed safe to use as they are the same compatibility, only the 24-pin ATX is different.

No worries, thanks so much.

Do you guys sell the single 24-pin cable by itself, or only in a pack?
If not I can just get an extension.

Thanks again.

@Katze we do via our configurator page, but currently it is custom options only as we are backlogged and this helped slow down orders a bit. So extensions may be a better alternative for you right now if you need something quickly.
