Should I wait or should I do it now

I was planning on buying parts and building a computer, I have about 750$ (converted from bgn using google). I think those are the parts I am going to stick with: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kCFQLP. I already have the storage bought as I am using it in my current pc. Should I go with these parts now, or wait a bit so the prices go down/new releases. Thanks in advance

Doesn't look like a very good system tbh, an i3 is rarely a good buy. We won't see any new releases for many months.

I'd put the build up in the New Builds and Planning section and see if someone can piece together something better, but don't bother including storage if you already have it (no need to list it, just say you already have it) and list your country as USD doesn't apply to you.

Budget (including currency): 750$ (1200bgn)

Country: Bulgaria

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: General Gaming, Gta V, CSGO, Pubg, Forza Horizon 4, Project cars 3, The Forest

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Those are the parts I plan on buying:

I am upgrading from an i5-7400, gtx 1050, asus h110-cs mobo, 2x4 2400 adata sticks, generic segotep case with psu. Should I go with these parts now, or wait a bit so the prices go down/new releases. Thanks in advance

Get a Ryzen 3 3100 or Ryzen 5 1600 (AF) this means that is gonna be on the same architecture as second gen Ryzen. But don't pay more than $125 if you can.

Considering AMD prices goes banana, that particular i3 is actually a good buy. 4 cores 8 threads for $100.

Ryzen 3100 is nowhere to be found.

To OP, you probably wanna wait another 3 months, Intel gonna push new generation (11th gen).

I'd keep your current setup and get a 3060Ti when u can get one

that doesn't sound very appealing, since the card is overkill just for the whole system, also I dont think the games I play are heavy enough to even challenge the 3060ti in 1080p

i think your plan is good. unless you're selling your old system as a whole, you can keep the old ram too.

Well, if you prepare to wait, i think this is a good excuse to wait.

Ryzen 3600 is still the best budget CPU, hands down, plus you can upgrade to 5000 in the future with B550 motherboard.

Yeah shipment from china can be long, at worst usually not more than 1-2 months.

Have you considered just grabbing the 1660? I don't really see a point in upgrading the whole system when the rest of the upgrade will probably not really give you that much more performance in most games.

The idea behind the 3060Ti was the option to upgrade the rest of the system later, either to ryzen or next gen intel when they launch.

The price is as low as $170, you can add premium shipping for $20 (7-14 days).
