Canon M50 Lenses

Any Suggestions for filming Dancing/Ballet Videos? Would the Sigma 16mm lens do just as well as the Sigma 17-55mm f2.8 or canon 24-70mm f2.8? my Friend suggested to get the 24-70mm f2.8 as I'm also planning on getting a drone soon. anyone else have any other suggestions?

Questions:

How far are you standing from your dancer? 

 

Do you want to capture full body, half body or both? 

 

I would take a Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 as a reasonable compromise. You get a 28-112mm full frame equivalent lens (similar to a 24-105) which would give you good coverage from wide to tele while letting in sufficient light when left at f4 all the way
