Sadly i dont have much time right now so i cant really say much but these are some new z97 boards leaked, they are pre production so expect changes.

Oh my god that looks awesome, and hopefully they'll change the heatsinks but keep the silver colour... It would be awesome for a stealth build, as its pretty much all black.

Yeah that's probably not a finished model. It says "gaming" on it so they'll probably put their red dragon heatsyncs on the finished version

these boards are pre production. They have the solder points already there, if you look closely. They are simply missing the plugs.

What's going on with the VRM Heatsinks and the Lower heatsink A.K.A North bridge?
My guess would be this is a low-end gaming board.. bare essentials

It's a new connection standard that interfaces directly with PCI-E. It's main use is ultrafast ssds at GB/s transfer speeds

This is a pre-prod prototype. You can't really say anything about the "tier" since they might still be working on those "fancy" heatsinks you get in the end product.

 

 

Overall, one sexy mobo, love the lack of flashy tryhard colors (but thats personal preference, ofcourse).

i know its pre production, but i have to say those VRM and south bridge heat sinks are ugly lol.  and from the looks of it, the south bridge it self got a node shrink. looks really small when looking at how small the heatsink is thats on it.

I love the Gaming 7's PCI-E layout. Not optimized for small cases, but you can put a lot of expansion cards in there, even with a dual-GPU setup.

 

(1) - Sound card

(2,3) - GPU

(4) - NIC or Wireless Card

(5,6) - GPU

(7) - RAID Card
