Riot Shields are coming to BF4! Dragon's Teeth DLC

A two-handed ballistic shield is coming to Battlefield 4 as part of the upcoming Dragon's Teeth expansion pack, according to a GDC talk given by an EA DICE animator.

One thing that sticks out for me in that article.

 

 

 

Dem darn console peasants at it again.

If you watch this video about why there is a NETCODE problem in ever since BFBC1 to BF4. It is because of the past gen consoles(Xbox360 & PS3) had this policy to not use this certain limit of internet usage.

As long as explosives are not blockable im fine but if i can block a rpg....fuck this shit.

I better propel grenades and not protect you from RPGs. So that finally people can push forward in Metro.

There is no reason why not to increase the tick rate on PC servers apart from having to pay for the bandwidth, DICE have already stated that they are exploring the possibilities of allowing a higher tick rate on some servers on PC.
