The start of my build: Cold Copper

MeteoricSnax

Hello everyone at LTT :)

while this is not a complete rebuild, it is just me showing of my newly self sleeved cables :P

IMAG0086

IMAG0091

pictures of before the sleeving began.

After waiting a week or so, the glorious sleeving arrived :D

IMAG0097

IMAG0098

IMAG0099

nothing other than MDPC Sleeving. my god, this sleeving is by far the best I have ever seen!
The colours are Black and copper-brown. The copper-brown was a bit of a no-brainer for what I'm going to build :P

IMAG0103

IMAG0105

two in-progress shots. only took two as I just couldn't wait to get done with sleeving the cables.
it was a bit intimidating at first, as i read about the pins being hard to pull and all of the double wires, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be :D

but after learning to solder and a lot of sleeving it was finally done.

im really proud of doing heatshrink-less sleeving the first time i have ever sleeved anything :). It wasn't as hard as i thought it would be and i dont understand why some people do it.

it looks much better and is actually quite easy (personal opinion).

At some point im going to lace the cables, but this will have to do the job until I get to watercool.

im also going to change the cpu cooler to a corsair H105 (mostly for looks, a bit for temps until real full-blown WC) and the case to a phanteks enthoo primo

(the pictures was taken with my HTC One. not the best pictures but it is better than anything else in the house)

Thank you :) in the final build, there wont be any white left though.

Looks good, I like the penis extension on that GPU

Great job on the sleeving :).  If I wasn't so impatient, I'd sleeve my own cables.

i finally took some pictures of the system after the case and cooler swap.

IMAG0127 (Small)

after taking everything out of the NZXT Switch 810, it reminded me of how much room is "wasted" inside such big cases,
when you don't fill them up with water-cooling gear

IMAG0128 (Small)

it was nice to see the closed cell foam considering how big and heavy this case is.

IMAG0129 (Small)

the front is SO beautiful   Dat brushed aluminium

IMAG0132 (Small)

IMAG0131 (Small)

And the case is HUGE :o i was not really prepared for it to be so large

Finally some glamour shots of the finished system. I don't have any other pictures of the process as i was in a hurry to get it done.

I really like the bigger window and the new cooler, as it shows the sleeving much better than with the Noctua NH-D14.

Also the PWM fanhub is great  (if your Pwm software is good  mine was not, but it works now)
