How to change Galaxy BEAM Firmware ?

Hi, I recently bought a Galaxy BEAM in China and I was wondering if there was any way to change the firmware. This one is special because of his integrated projector, is it possible to change the firmware to a north american one and keep the projector working ? Thanks.

Man ive seen some vids of the phone but i know nothing about it best bet is checking here and this vid shows someone rooting it which should be what you need.
