I was looking for some psus so I could 560 ti sli but don't have much money for a $100-150 one. This one has okay reviews and is modular and 750 watts which is enough for overclocking with gtx 560 ti right? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182133

for GTX 560 TI it requires 4 pins and with my rig pcpartpicker estimates 638 without cpu overclock.

Get a Corsair RM650, I believe it's got 4 PCI-E connectors and it's got more than enough power for what you need, do some research before buying.

My be quiet! Pure Power L8 630W CM has 4 PCI-E connectors, another option.

I don't think 650 watts will be enough after overclocking the cpu.

I don't think 650 watts will be enough after overclocking the cpu.

It is. A rig 2 GTX 780 Ti's in SLI and overclocked i7 CPU uses around 500W.

A GTX 560Ti has a 170W TDP, so the power consumption I think will be lower than 500W at full load.

What CPU do you have?

Well the  750 of that is cheaper and 100 more watts.

The RM650 is 80 Plus Gold, that Rosewill PSU is 80 Plus Bronze. Not that big of a difference, but if you get the RM650, you should save some money, because of the higher efficiency.

It's your choice. 650W is enough but if you want more headroom, you could get the 750W PSU.

its ok, but the RM650 is both better in any ways.

why? they both have the same amount of combines 12v rails.

RM650 is gold, the PSU you mentioned is bronze.

gold PSU's are better and are known to deliver more watts than it can output.

so what i'm saying is get a real beast potential lower wattage PSU rather than a fake higher wattage specified PSU.

and besides, you get more warranty.

When 2 things meet each other, Quantum stuff happens.

RM 750 here? Same price cheaper on amazon lol. Is the RM 750 not good? I would rather have the 750 rm for same price unless it isn't as good idk?

Get the RM750 if it's cheaper. It's basically the same PSU, but it has 750W and it has some additional modular plugs. The RM750 is actually my next upgrade for my rig, it's a really nice PSU  :D

Most of their current lineups that are still sold range from decent to excellent. The Rosewill Hive is a decent mainstream unit. What's your budget?

gold PSU's are better and are known to deliver more watts than it can output.

Being a gold unit doesn't give it the ability to output more than what it is rated for. It only seem that way nowadays because the demand for higher efficiency is high, in which there's no marketing sense in designing an over-engineer premium unit a lower rated 80+ badge; however, there were Bronze units that can output far more than what it is rated, while some gold units today cannot (E.G. Antec Signature 650w was a premium Bronze unit that can output ~850w while maintaining excellent electrical performance - even better than some gold units today. While the RM650 will shut off at around ~710w).

Regardless, the RM650/750 is indeed a better unit than the Rosewill Hive, but at the same time cost $30 more.

Never had a Rosewill PSU, but I've had several other Rosewill branded items and have used them in builds for others. Their stuff is generally not premium quality but worth the money they're asking. You do get what you pay for and I don't mean that in the way that phrase has a usual negative connotation. Of course, more money can get you better, such is life.

Rosewill doesn't manufacture psus. They like Corsair, rebrand from other manufacturers.

The Hive series is solid. 750w is overkill though. You'd be fine with a decent 500w or a quality ~400w. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-capstone450

for GTX 560 TI it requires 4 pins and with my rig pcpartpicker estimates 638 without cpu overclock.

Psu calculators for the most part are highly inaccurate.

 CX 750 like $90

The Hive series is better than the CX.

Haha I probably just wont get a second 560 ti. I thought that maybe since a guy had it for $40 it would be a good idea. But I aint paying $40 plus $120 to use two graphics cards.
