Post your high/low temps, and maybe with your cpu load.

Post what your CPU, and cooler are!

Overclocked?

I have been thinking about OC with "OC genie", but i have to wait for my CPU cooler to come.

This is a stock Intel 3570k with the stock cooler. It encodes video 24/7 so is at this temp the majority of the time.

It is in a cheap Mini ITX case and in a enclosed cupboard with no ventilation.

On my desktop with fans max speed I get 47C with large FFTs in P95. Kuhler 620, stock voltage with a slight overclock.

I forget what my P95 temps are for my laptop but I think they were somewhere around 55-60C.

FX8350 with a NH-U9B SE2 after running Prime95 for about 3 minutes (left is current, right is max) http://puu.sh/7wK1a.png

Temp 1 on the mobo (Voltage regulator) gets to about 62 degrees before deciding that my CPU need to throttle, hence why it's running at 3.4GHz. Usually it runs at about 45C max when gaming (80% load).

Ambient temp is about 18C-20C

Yeah, with an ambient of 21C. But the CPU uses the metal keyboard backplate as a heatsink (with poor contact between the die and the pad) and then uses the incidental airflow from the fan to help stay cool.

i5-3570K

Ambient: around 20C

Clock speed: 4.6Ghz (usually 4.7 but the difference is 10 degrees so I don't)

Idle: 33-36 degrees

Load: 60-65 degrees

Cooled by a Cooler Master 412S.

Core 2 is also like 5C hotter than core 0, 1 and 3 - crapping on the party somewhat :(

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Room: 20-24C

Clock Speed: OC to 4.0GHz from 3.4GHz

Idle: 14-19 Depending on Core

Under Load (Prime95) peaks at about 60 but in general I never see it that high
I have a Titan CPU Cooler: http://www.titan-cd.com/Y_product_C_intel1156_e.php?id=334

i5-4670k @ 4 GHz with Noctua NH-D14 w/ low RPM adapter. Cannot hear the Fans.

Cool room at about 22C.

idle at 28C

under load about 48C,

never touching the 50C mark.

EDIT: Stock Noctua Cooling paste.

Also remember this is a cool room.

Built a decent, quiet gaming rig / Steam Box equivalent: i5-4670k OC • MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming • 8 GB Corsair 1600 MHz • EVGA GTX 780 OC w / ATX • Fractal Design Define R4, Windowless • Samsung EVO 250 GB SSD • Be Quiet! Dark Tower Pro 10 650w (worth every penny) • Noctua NH-D14 • Corsair K70 (MX Brown) ... but i am an Apple fanboy at heart. Since 1984. 128k, Plus, II, SE, SE/30, LCIII, Performa 630, Quadra 700, PowerBook Duo 230, PowerMac 6100 / 9500, PowerMac G4, PowerBook G4 17", MacBook Pro 17" • All Newtons & iPhones • maxed rMBP 15" which i use for real work.
