Will the RX580 be relevant in the future (2-3 years) ?

Justaphysicsnerd

Like the Rx580 has been relevant till this date, but will be it a good purchase for someone with a limited budget for gaming ?

Depends on the games.

For me the answer is Yes as I mostly play older games and avoid AAA titles.

Its been a great purchase so  far and I don’t plan to replace it until 2022 winter at the earliest unless it breaks.

What GPU would you recommend as the most bang for the buck ?

And as for the games : Apex Legends, COD, EFT, etc.

ha, I still have a 290x that is 7 years old, and it still has plenty of life left in it, plus it doubles as a heater in the winter.

Well, by relevant I meant, a good purchase for gaming, as due to the current GPU shortage, I wandered LTT's old YT videos and found one where Linus talks about getting old cards that are gud enough. (But that was Adolescent Linus in 2018 not the MAN BOI LINUS we know today)

@James EvensI was able to find a second hand GTX 1070 from Zotac for the price of a 570, and it does look like it is legit. Is it any good or should I get like a 580 ?

For brand new games? Probably on lower settings for another 2 years or so, after that you will probably have to drop down to 720p. For online games you will probably be fine for a long time.
