My Windows SSD does not exist apparently

Kaan Guzel

Alright so I had my computer working fine with the stock and Ryzen 5 3600 cooler. Then I bought a new AIO that was faulty, the pump didn't work. I booted up the computer with the faulty AIO and it obviously did not cool the CPU. So then the CPU overheated and shut off the computer. Since then I have switched back to my old cooler and now I can only get in to the bios because my SSD just doesn't exist any more. I have tried different SATA cables and ports but it just won't work. I got a new SSD that is m.2 and even that won't show up but my Windows Flash drive does. Any tech specialists out here?

What motherboard and SSD's are you using?

Clear the bios to start with.

The easiest way to clear the cmos/bios is to disconnect the power cord.

Open the system and remove the CR2032 battery that's on the mobo somewhere (Note the orientation so you can put it back in the same way).

Then with the power cord still unplugged, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.

Then put the battery back in.

Then plug it back in and turn it on.

Daily driver (looking to upgrade mobo and cpu spring of 2021)   --- The only time I sort by price from high to low is when I am shopping for CPU's and GPU's (looking for a cheap i7-7700k though)
