Only in very rare cases it makes sense. But as I said. Only in very rare cases.

sometimes it's necessary when you deinstall badly written programs like for example discord or AMD Radeon as they will not, in my experience, remove themselves from things like "settings and apps". which doesn't fly at all with me personally, I'd rather reinstall windows than having redundant, none working entries, but deleting the entries in registry actually removes those badly coded programs from everywhere else too.

No. Not needed. The registry is a database. As more entries are added, it doesn't slow down your system, or its own performance.

Cleaning the registry using tools, risk of causing problems that you won't notice, until some Windows Update comes in. It's not worth it.

Feel free, if you are confident, and have some knowledge of the registry, manually delete entries related to the specific games you install, if it makes you sleep at night, but don't use software.
