New Gaming PC to last 5+ years - Advice please

Ethiliam

Budget (including currency): 4000 EUR

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: It will be a gaming pc used for all kinds of games.

Other details: I just bought a new monitor that 1440p 240Hz. I also like to used mods in games like Skyrim and Subnautica.

I've come up with a list but I would like to know if it's all good or if I need to change a component to get better performance. Is the memory speed ok, to high to low?  My previous 7 year old Gaming PC has done fantastic up until the last year orso when I'm getting CPU loads of 100% in some games. (Intel I7 - 4770 @ 3.40Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 1600 Mhz, Geforce 1660 Ti) Upgraded the gfx card a year ago because the old one broke.

The idea of this system is to last me 5+ years again with maybe video card upgrade in the future depending on the evolution and need.

Can I use the 2 MVME (PCIE 4.0) M.2 drives on this motherbord or only 1. I'm not sure about that.

Looks good! Quality motherboard, good specs, and good psu. Will it last 7 years? I don't know. If someone can chime in for how long a 3080 or 5900x lasts then please do.

get 3090 if u are spending that much on a pc imo

That would put me over my current budget. But even then I rather spend that 1000 EUR in a few years on a newer video card.
