How difficult is it to get an app on to Apple App store

RTX 3090

Hi, am hiring someone to make an app. The app will just embed a website as I can easily design websites but not apps. Will Apple accept this and how difficult is it to submit an app to them. Any previous experiences with them appreciated

Well for one thing you need a developer account which is $99 annually, unless you can get someone else to publish it for you

An app just embedding a website might be considered too basic for them to accept it

Pretty easy, I'd imagine.  Just agree to give Apple some large percent of every dollar you earn through the app or any services that the app supports, and follow The Guidelines™.

Of note in your case: Section 4.2...

Quote

Your app should include features, content, and UI that elevate it beyond a repackaged website. If your app is not particularly useful, unique, or “app-like,” it doesn’t belong on the App Store. If your App doesn’t provide some sort of lasting entertainment value, it may not be accepted.

As a developer i would completely avoid iOS.

There are too many things they do that i don't like, and their requirements are ridiculous.

There are many app stores on Android, and you can also install apps by downloading an APK and installing it like how you download and run an exe on Windows.

The market share of iOS is not that big anyway (12.37%).

The problem is very simple. You just need to download the best alternative to play store today like ac market. There you can also download any game or application you like.

Sorry, I dont think you understand the question

I'm saying how likely am I to get my app approved

Do you know if I would have a chance of succeeding on Google Play or will they decline it as it is kinda a web app (although not indexed, it's just that I can design a website better than an App)

I think you should try,Google are significantly less strict than Apple.

If it fails there are many other stores on Android - but with limited user base.
