Need help low gpu usage in rust (1070) and below 144fps (i have 144hz panel)

HelpMyPcDoesntBehave

need help i tried lowering the settings but it only made the usage lower and the frames stayed the same.

that happened before i got a 144hz panel as well but i tought that if i get 144hz it will work harder.

i tried a slight overclock on the gpu and im going to try an overclock on the cpu

i tried setting it to max performance in windows and nvidia control panel as well

What CPU and PSU do you have? How high is the CPU usage while gaming?

I have 3 ideas why this could happen:

1) CPU bottleneck - your CPU is too old and can't keep up with your GPU

2) The temperature while gaming is reaching a limit (usually about 80 degrees celcius) so your GPU stops working harder.

3) Your PSU does not deliver enough power to your GPU so it stops pumping up the frame rate.

Please keep in mind - i am not an expert!

But now, fellow gamers, that was it for me. Please keep in mind, that this is just my personal opionion and I am no expert. Your system shall be cooled forever, see you next time.
