Since the recent update, long quotes are now partially hidden by default and able to be expanded by clicking under them. However at the moment it's not possible to collapse these quotes back to their original hidden stage.

Could this functionality be added? It just seems a bit inconsistent to me, and if I expand a massive quote it's quite likely that I'll want to hide it again so that I can scroll back up the page without having to scroll past it all.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Yes, I can vouch on this, once I extend it I can't shrink it back

You could always use this button to fully close the quote:
