Hi,

I was wondering if I wanted to set my desktop pc say beside the cabinet away from my computer desk and keep monitor on pc desk as well as router. How could I achieve this? I don't have a big computer desk and the case i have is a corsair carbide 678c. Would i need a long hdmi cable or is there something that works better instead of running cables around my room. Would also be open to ideas of small computer cases that can fit an atx motherboard and atx power supply and noctua nhd15s cpu cooler.

My desk is small too.

What I did was to put a little shelf just about a foot off the floor next to my desk.

That way the computer was easier to plug things in because it wasn't up high like when people put it on top of the desk they use their keyboard聽on.

Doing that also gave me all the desk space but still kept my desktop close enough for all the cables to reach.

This might not help you depending on how the聽room is laid out but I just in case I thought I'd suggest it.

Whatever you do please don't put your pc on a carpet! I'd also advise to not have a carpet at all, thank you. ~

Why not having a carpet at all? I want to fill my house with carpets so I don't freeze to death due to coldness coming from the floor tiles.

Okay fair enough

Just don't put the pc on the carpet. It will suck dusk in. And even if your psu intake is on the bottom could caused short circuit due to dusk and esd.

Yeah, this one is self explanatory. We shouldn't actually need to say that. Except the dust that it will suck in, it can't also聽properly 'breathe'.

The pc is on a desk right now but its kind of cluttered I'm also open to smaller pc cases that can house noctua nhd15s

place the computer next to the desk, for the complaint about carpet, find some wood and place the pc on wood next to the desk and find some longer cables.
