Looking to build a new pc

I’m looking to build a system that can pump FPS and do really well streaming at the same time. I didn’t expect such good deals for cpu and now I’m stuck. I want to to content creation as well also I’m in school for engineering so modeling software is something I use often. I plan to wait until he’ll freezes over for the 3080 and was wondering what cpu I should go with I wanted the 3900x but don’t want to leave performance or anything on the table but I’m just confused now

you WILL (like i mean REALLY WILL) want to buy a new ryzen 5000.

since the 3080 is basically unobtainable and zen 3 is out of stock, why not wait?

Get a Ryzen 5000 chip, and one of the new video cards that are coming out.

Your basically stuck waiting till stuff comes back into stock tbh. Even months later a certain pandemic is still keeping the production lines slow it would seem so it will take time for supply to catch up.

or the workers went on strike because of the working conditions and they don't doing any covid cleaning.... just like coke.

China has been ramping up production since March, theres still the issue also with the logistics of it, with global shipping suspended to a degree, not to mention the trucker shortage we have gets worse every single year (not to say there not qualified drivers, it's there terrible working conditions and pay)

ya and there under water... i got stuff from china and it arrived in 3 days so(it was not small ether 300 sfc controllers and 100 n64 controllers)... its the "free shipping" that's backed up.
