Will 500$ pc that linus made about 5 months ago run rust at a decent fps

Username required

I dont really know what I'm doing so if I put this in the wrong topic sorry. But I wanna know if the 500$ pc linus made like 5 months ago can run rust at a decent frame rate maybe like 50+fps? And if anyone has built it lemme know if you have anymore info on building it as I'm brand new to this.

I dont think '500$ pc that linus made about 5 months ago' is enough of a explanation, video link? forum post? anything?

As you can see in 1:12:12 he benchmarks the systems performance in Tomb raider, solid 70/72 fps, so i think its safe to say rust will run above 50fps.

I have not built this specific system, but you can check out pc building guides on the internet, Linus has made a bunch you can watch.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

SSDs don't run making Gaming any faster, merely decrease load times by a good factor.

Not really. If you're in the $500 realm for a complete system, none of the released stuff replaces parts you can afford. There's no reason for the used market if lower grade parts to drop; there still isn't anything better to buy.

Why would anyone build a new ~$500 when the Last Years ~$500 Build is just as good?

what i mean by "new parts" is new part releases, 5 months ago it was 3rd gen and 9th gen processors 2xxx series cards and 5xxx series cards, there are bound to be more of these on the market.

and correct me if im wrong, but isnt linus's video using all new parts?

My point is if you built a New System with a Budget last year, then it doesn't make any sense to do a Build this year with this Years parts using the same Budget. Unless your are now doing new Applications that have much higher Requirements needing a higher end Rig.
