Posted November 4, 2020 I have a Thermaltake Litepower series 750W PSU and it comes with a 6 and a 4+2 pin pcie connectors, and I'm looking to get a RTX 3070 which most have 2x8 Pin I was just wondering would be reasonable to get two 6 to 8 pin adapters? Or should I get a new PSU, I'm pretty sure a 750W PSU can take a 3070 I'm just not sure if the adapters will introduce any instability or lack of performance especially if I want to overclock. pls & thx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted November 4, 2020 Get a new, proper PSU. TT's Litepower units are trash. What other components are you using? Assuming you're running an HEDT processor or a 10900K, even 550W will be plenty.
