Can I use third party application (if so which one) for a vacuum robot?

So I bought a ROWENTA Explorer Serie 60 RR7427WH but their mobile application is a pile of shit, it doesn't work nor I was able to connect my damm robot to it

 

So I was wondering if it was possible to use third parties ones to connect that robot to my mobile (and maybe with some extra feature)

 

Yeah I could also send it back, but quite honestly it's a pain in the ass

Only way I can think of is code your own

I don’t think there is but when making a custom app it would take time since the vacuum may not be able to connect to the custom app

I'm a little late to the party, but in case someone finds this down the road and is wondering.... Home Assistant works with several Robot Vacuums.

 

It auto discovered my Shark, the Xiaomi integration worked for my Wyze vacuum, and got it working with my Samsung Powerbot thru IFTTT.
