Are there any disadvantages in ram caching? (Primocahce)

I use primocache and it really helped the loading of games by half. I just want to know what are the disadvantages of ram caching?

Less usable ram for other tasks? Maybe some impact to fps in games that care about memory performance a lot.

Cinebench R15 Single thread:168 Multi-thread: 833 

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

I thought programs like this were rendered obsolete by solid state storage?

yeah i have an nvme 256 ssd but for my games i put it in a 1tb HDD
