How to increase volume of microphone.

I dont have the sound boost option in the properties and levels. Idk why im told its not supported.

 

Its a usb c mic.

 

I need to increase the volume, how can i do this?

If there is no boost where it should, you might be out of luck, as the sound-hardware in the mic (to make it to USB) might be of such low quality that it will not go louder... (But maybe you can update drivers to get that option).

its an inline mic in an inline intergrated dac (Audeze Cipher).

 

I mean if its not possible to do it a legit way, cant it be done with some software or something?

It cant be that hard for some software to intercept the mic sound and just make it a bit louder.
