What's your lowest Ghz!?

This is what happens when you are running bootcamp on a macbook...  I want to know whats the slowest speed you guys have gotten on a processor.

.8GHz is pretty common especially for mobile CPUs.

I have achieved 0GHz, when I turned my PC off

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Lowest actually freq on my 3700X was 500 MHz cuz of a weird BIOS bug

Had this on my 3950X the other day. A horrible experience.

Yep it’s super weird! Logging into windows was rough 😂

Reboot fixed it for me, never had it again (I mean I’m OC’d now so I doubt it’s possible anymore)

I agree

not only for mobile cpus some high end mainboards have a button that sets the clock to 0,8GHz

Slowest computer I ever owned and used was an old compac presario with a DX66 (66mhz) chip in it.  Can't say I have ever tried to slow my current desktop rig down as it runs F@H 24/7 and is always maxed out.  The work laptop idles down to about 1ghz on an I7-6600U chip.

-> Moved to CPUs, Motherboards and Memory

This is borderline on locking as pointless thread. The clockspeed depends on CPU one is using. Like if I were to run that Pentium II we had back in 90s, it was 0.2GHz.
