Windows 10 on ps4

Hi all, I Pre-ordered the ps5 and I am not going to have a use for my ps4, so I figured that I should put windows 10 on it but idk where to start. Any help is appreciated!

That is impossible but you could hack the ps4 to run linux

we can't help with breaking the security on a PS4, windows is not supported by either Sony or Microsoft so you're out of luck here. It's not possible to install windows 10 on it, and even if it was, the hypervisor would have to be compromised since the code isn't signed by Sony, something we can't help you with

And if you add linus you'l lose support from sony since you broke the warranty

This is not possible and has not been possible on any console however linux works on most playstation systems in some way

linux is a better choice and you can use wine for windows programs

if it was useful give it a like :) btw if your into linux pay a visit here

PS4 'security' has been fully compromised and the console is fully hacked since a long time now... 

 

However you're right we can't help the op, but not because of the things you mentioned as they're rather irrelevant, but simply because we have no idea how to do it (I suppose) 

 

 

Tho afaik, depending on the fw it's not hard at all, ik a few people who cfw their PS4, but I agree, this is the wrong forum for such enquiries... (as it's primarily a pc forum) 

 

 

ps: windows 10 is 'possible' but it runs like shit iirc
