You can take apart the first layer (called polarizer) and replace it with a new one.

Looks like a plastic tint film for your car windows.

Hopefully it's not the panel that's broken.

OMG pool display, why did you take it appart after just spiling water on it? you shouldve just let it dry out in the dun for 32 hours, and the pannel's edges are usually closed very titly so water anyway has a harder time getting into the place where it will do harm. 

And isnt it kinda diseponting taking apart a monitor, like you expect more but there's really not a lot in there
