I think i have no spacers for my motherboard

Go to solution Solved by Teddy07,

The space in the case is limited so I recommend to insert and install the case fans first, followed by the motherboard and then the cpu with cooler. The cooler might be a pain if it is a big one.

Hello i only got these things see foto

do i need anything else

Any Help appreciated

that's a thumb screw, nothing to do with the motherboard.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

You need what @Dedayog said.
They should either be pre-installed in your case or come with your case and you have to install them yourself.

yes, that goes under the motherboard (into the case) and screws go into them (not thumb screws thohugh)

It depends on what you already got.

Are you building a new PC and got new parts? Then technically you should already have everything.
Or are those used parts?

Give us an idea of what you have / ordered and we'll go from there.

Screws that fit in the top of your golden screws. These will fix the motherboard in place while using the standoffs

They should be in the kit you linked, that you have.

Use your fingers and eyes, put some screws in the gold things to see what fits in where.

these ones should work fine

depending on the type of standoff. probably the ones on the right, that's the more common threading.

Check your case and / or motherboard manual because you don´t have to use every whole. They will say which one to use.

those screws can be kinda crappy. if you counter thread one and ruin it, don't sweat it cause you can get more easy.

Don´t use force. Just make sure it can not move. Also keep an eye on your motherboard holes because the ones which should be used have a special border (at least my board has).

Also just follow the manuals. There is no need to google or know anything outside of that.
