Or a new 5500xt / 1650ti.

He doesn't need those for FORZA games... they run on 1050Ti/7970 performance base at 60FPS Medium/High mixes of settings.
His Single RAM stick is the issue.

This game runs GPU's to 100% with just 4 threads and Dualchannel Ram. His Ram is the HUGE letdown here...

I get stutters even after going upto 35fps. My GPU can do 60 easily at medium settings.

My specs:

CPU: i3 6100

RAM: 1 x 8gb ddr4 @ 2133 mhz

GPU: gtx 1050 ti

Motherboard: Asus H110m - cs

Go Dualchannel Ram, its CHEAP, easy to install, nothing else changes.. and its ABSOLUTELY killing your performance right now only having a Single Channel Stick of Ram as your Memory platform (Gaming)

Due to their filesystem encryption genuine copies for FH3 and FH4 has a massive CPU load. I would suggest you to monitor your component load in game with RTSS.

When is the Massive CPU load?, I run this on 4thread PC's with full GPU usages at 60FPS locked.
Maybe if you chase 90FPS+ your CPU demands go up greatly, but not for lesser circumstances.

Really? I upgraded from 1050ti to RX580, 35fps to 60-80fps, you really feel the difference.

If "smooth enough" is your aim, i don't think spending for 1660 is wise choice.

Apex isn't Forza. You can't compare "GAINS" between different games.
He isn't after an Upgrade, just a cheap Solution.
The 1050Ti is still 1080p Medium on FORZA (62-70FPS AVG)

Bullshit. At best a dual channel will only boost 5-10%.

A GPU upgrade to like rx580, 50% boost minimum.

Yes it can run 60fps at lowest settings.

yes, but I just said that rx 580 is much ebtter than 1050 ti to vishera. I did nto say anything about forza.

for forza 1050 ti will do. just ahve better cpu than dual core and dual channel ram. i5 6400 is pretty cheap. it is decent combo (1050ti+i5 6400).

8 gigs more ram will help too.

Every time new asset needs to be loaded, this would be more noticeable when you drive at higher speeds. FH3 and FH4 maxed out my 3570K running at 4.7ghz even with a HD7850, despite only getting 30fps at high/medium mix. I got higher FPS when I got a GTX970 but every time I set my CPU clocks to 4.2ghz for lower fan speeds I would get a noticeable stutter and lower fps.

Make sense, but i suggest getting the GPU first, then upgrade the CPU if not enough.

It would be great if he can upgrade all the pieces, but as budget concern, gpu->memory->cpu.

I was coming from a 1600 with 1050ti, still the FPS cannot sustain 60fps at high settings.

I have actual experience with this game here, get some RAM before you touch anything else. Your 1050Ti will be fine so long as you don’t touch the MSAA option and your i3 should still be okay if an Athlon X4 950 can muscle through it.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Thanks. I was thinking same as neither I can afford a rx 580 / gtx 1650 super / Ryzen 5 3600 ($350 in India) for single game.
I'm fine with even 45 fps just stutters were big problem and Input lag. I can upgrade ram much easily. Thanks again to everyone for answers

Thanks for reply. I don't want higher fps. I just don't want stutters. It just stops suddenly, I've seen benchmarks and 1050 ti can easily pull 60 fps at high.
I was confused if it was my CPU or RAM as I will need new motherboard for new CPU. So, getting same RAM

I have actual experience with this game here, get some RAM before you touch anything else. Your 1050Ti will be fine so long as you don’t touch the MSAA option and your i3 should still be okay if an Athlon X4 950 can muscle through it.

Ok. Yeah I can reach up to 60 fps on Ultra at normal day in winter. It's just stutters, I'm satisfied because I mostly use it for programming, Learning. Don't play Apex so I'm ok.
Trying this thanks to you and SkilledRebuilds

Thanks man, You bring up Forza and everyone uses other games to justify telling you to upgrade...for their games which are not applicable to Forza and YOUR needs. lol.. Hope its all sweet, sitting pretty and if you want please come back to this with your Dualchannel Ram opinions please...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
