Take his Lightning 680. It will be about as powerful, if not a little bit more, than the PNY and the cooler isn't crap. Unless it isn't the single blower and is the triple impeller.

Go with the 680, it has unlocked voltage and a awesome cooler.

EDIT: If you go with a 770, please dont go with the pny sotck cooler. Pay a little more for something better.

I would buy a better GTX 770.

Warranty + extra power makes it worth it, I personally wouldn't buy a used 680 for anymore than $250, especially a lightning, which was bound to be overclocked and worn.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

The 770 is slightly faster, but slightly more expensive, but the 680 is slightly less powerful, and slightly less money, but it has a much better cooler. You decide.I Hope I helped

Just get the 770 for $20 more. You never know what exclusives could come with newer cards

Well, yeah, you DO know what exclusives would come with it, by checking the retail product page on newegg or amazon :P

I'd say it's a tough call. The 680 lightning is defo a little faster, but it's so minor. However, the cooler on the MSI Lightning is MILES better than the blower cooler on that PNY.

For Sale: Meraki Bundle

I'd say the 770, just because of the warranty. If the 680 still has warranty support then by all means, go with the 680.

Go for the lightning. Why a PNY 770? You can go EVGA ACX for a little more.

what about this card the gigabyte 770

I have one. It's a fine card. Temps on mine aren't that great but it overclocks fine.

I have the Gigabyte HD 7950 WF3, speaking strictly of the Cooler, it's a kickass cooler. It's SUPER cool and not very loud at 100%. Defo a good card.

With that in mind, the 680 Lightning is probably still faster.

what about gpu boost 2.0 on the 770 an gpu boost 1.0 on the 680

Features like that are irrelevant because the lightning will probably overclock way futher and with the cooler on the lightning heat really isnt a problem until you start running a custom bios where you can give it loads of extra voltage
