Gigabyte's Aorus RTX 3080 & 3090 Xtreme GPUs appear to be 4-slot monsters

overclock 3d shows picture with 2x8 pin

this website also shows 2x8 pin

But imo it doesnt make sense to have a card like this have only 2x8 pin so i hope the gigabyte website is the correct one.

My evga 3080 ftw3 draws 380w without overclocking which is more than the 2x8 pin + pcie slot rating of 375w. Like sure you can go over by a decent amount but you don't really want to test the limits.

The Xtreme has 3x8 pins. The master has 2x8 pins. Both have basically the same cooler, apparently the Xtreme has a slightly larger vapor chamber.

iirc hwmonitor calculates wattage implicitly based on voltage... if you have a wattage meter between your psu and wall, you can compare that to the sum of all the power readings in hwmonitor. I'd bet hwmonitor is more than the total.

idk evga jacob said it can draw up to 420 watts and it boosts to 1986 mhz at stock with no OC so i wouldnt be surprised if thats actually lower than the actual draw
