CrystalDiskInfo says SSD at 68% - Should I be worried?

My boot drive SSD is showing a health percentage of 68% - is that a cause for concern?

It's not showing any errors on the drive though - note that I've been using this SSD for about 5 and a half years now.

P.S. Don't worry about the Caution warning on the other drive - I've backed up my stuff and have a new SSD on the way to replace that old HDD.

The endurance of the 840 Evo NAND has been tested to 1000 P/E cycles, or roughly 120TB of writes on your 120GB drive. There are currently 31TB of host writes on the drive, so if you continue at the same pace, expect it to die in about 15 years.

CrystalDiskInfo doesn't know the exact endurance of the NAND and is just giving an appropriate number. 68% ≈ 74%.

I would download Samsung Magician Software, that should give you a more accurate health rating.

It didn't have a percentage rating like CrystalDisk but I ran a benchmark on Magician and these were the results:

I thought I remember it having a percentage, guess I was thinking of WD's or SanDisk's software then. It does give the amount of data written though, which you can use to calculate the estimated remaining life. I couldn't find an official total bytes written (TBW) for it anywhere, but I have seen figures from 72TB to around 150TB, which means you have around 58% - 80% life left depending on which numbers you believe. That is just an estimate though, like hard drives SSDs can fail at anytime so it's important to have your data backed up.

The 68% seems to be tracking the "wear leveling count" which I think is the indicator of estimated drive endurance left. It is normal for this to go down with use, and nothing to worry about until it gets really low.

This just tells you the device is at roughly 3/4 of life. I wouldn't really worry about it.
